Transition to Knight’s Landing (KNL): Approaches, Tools, and Architecture

Dr. John Linford will present experiences with porting FDL3DI to the KNL on April 25 at a PETTT Workshop titled Transition to Knight’s Landing (KNL): Approaches, Tools, and Architecture.

The objective of this PETTT training event is to serve Department of Defense HPCMP users and other key Government partners by exposing them to basic approaches for programming the KNL architecture and to the documented methodologies employed in successfully adapting several HPC codes to the KNL platform. The KNL workshop will host a combination of presentations delivering key insights from vendors, application developers, and performance tool experts as well as hands-on exercises. Attendees should bring their questions and concerns about the KNL platform so that the presenters can offer guidance.

The PETTT Workshop Transition to Knight’s Landing (KNL): Approaches, Tools, and Architecture will include hands on exercises with TAU Commander and FUN3D MINIAPP1.
