Our History

ParaTools, Inc. was founded by Dr. Allen Malony and Dr. Sameer Shende in 2004. From a single office in the Riverfront Research Park at University of Oregon, ParaTools has grown to a multi-national business venture with offices in France and across the United States.

Our Vision

ParaTools is devoted to the development and application of tools for parallel computing systems, with specific expertise in high-performance computing and performance analysis.  The TAU Performance System® is the core of many of our products and can be found at research centers worldwide.
